About ME

Who Am I?

Career has always been very important to me and over the years I’ve had several senior management roles, mostly in Human Resources, specialising in Organisational Development and Learning and Development. Coaching became an increasingly important part of my work and as requests from private clients increased, I decided it was the right time to set up my own coaching practice.

I’ve always practised what I preach in terms of learning and it is rare that I am not enrolled on a development programme. I always have a stack of Kindle books I’m working my way through.

I live in Bedfordshire with my family and I am an animal lover with a menagerie of pets, including cats, dogs and chickens. I enjoy walking in the countryside and seeing the wildlife. I’m no fitness addict, but I do try to keep moving, with a bit of gym and as many yoga sessions as I can fit in.

Who Do I Coach?

I’ve had clients in various sectors, including Local Government, Higher Education, Technology & Communication, Banking, Investment, Engineering and Charities.

They’ve been in various roles, including Directors, Senior Managers, Professionals and Business Owners.

My Qualifications

I want to be the best coach I can be and I think as well as experience, it’s important to keep updating and developing my coaching skills. I have various coaching qualifications, including the ILM level 7 certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited Certificates in Professional Coaching, Career Coaching and Team Coaching.

In 2019, I successfully completed the International Coaching Federation Diploma in Professional Coaching Practice, including the Certificate in Advanced Coaching.

I am an International Coaching Federation approved and certified professional coach and member, a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and a Chartered Fellow member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.

My Style of Coaching

I’m told I’m very approachable and people are relaxed working with me. The purpose of coaching is to challenge people’s thinking and get them to consider things from a different perspective, support them to achieve their goals and help them grow. I often use models and theories to help with this. However, everyone is different and I always ask my clients how they would like me to work with them.

I love seeing the impact coaching has and I know from personal experience and feedback from clients, what a positive difference it can make to people’s professional and private lives.

Where I Coach

I can travel from my base in Bedfordshire to meet clients face to face. However, I also coach via the Internet and by telephone and have coached clients across the world, including Dubai, Germany, Spain and New Zealand.
